AVARD has prioritized and sustained women and specially abled for the past years and this has shown tremendous changed in all the 5 Grama Panchayaths namely Athirapilly, Pariyaram, Kodassery, Mattathoor and Varandarapilly.
Family Counseling Centre (FCC) aided by Central Social Welfare Board (CSWB) started functioning in the year 1987.
The year 1991 benchmarked the intervention of AVARD into a new sector i.e. Rehabilitation of differently abled in our operational area.
AVARD has successfully implemented the Joint Liability Groups, a financial inclusion programme of NABARD in collaboration with Bank of India for supporting the farmers in achieving a sustainable livelihood from agriculture.
AVARD conducted meetings to discuss the disaster caused by wild life at 5 panchayths.
Research and Training Department is engaged in research work to get findings of areas where new ventures have to be planned and implemented for integrated development.
